Asuncion R. Gomez, 87, of Attleboro, passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 20, 2024 in Providence. Born in Sitio Nuevo, Colombia he was a son of the late Asuncion Gomez and Luisa Parejo.
He is survived by his children, Tanya Cedeno of Attleboro, MA, Harold Gomez of Cumberland, Belkis Gomez Barrios, Alfonso Gomez Barrios, Luis Rafael Gomez Barrios, Osiri Gomez Barrios, Eduardo Gomez Barrios, Leonel Gomez Camacho, all of Barranquilla, Colombia; siblings, Luis Rafael Gomez, Manuel deJesus Gomez of Barranquilla, Colombia, Freddy Gomez of North Carolina, Bienvenido Gomez, Jorge Gomez, Wilma Gomez of Barranquilla, Colombia. He was the brother of the late Eduardo Gomez, Rosalba Gomez, and Jairo Gomez.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, November 24th from 3:00 – 6:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 25th at 9:30am at Holy Spirit Parish, 1030 Dexter St., Central Falls. Please meet directly at the church in the morning. Burial will follow at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
